Configuring your firewall, with a Windows XP operating system, may sound tough but it isn't that bad if you follow along. It will save you a lot of time downloading patch files if your firewall understands that you want to allow Blizzard.com to load files onto your computer. Roll your sleeves up and let's get started.

World of Warcraft uses ports 3724 and 6112 to add files to your WoW file on your hard drive. To configure these ports for Windows XP, follow these steps
